His approach to the world of art dates back to the seventies when he started painting. Backed by flattering feedback that comes from both the public and critics, he continues on his path until, at the beginning of the eighties, his interest shifts towards the techniques of chalcographic engraving until later on making it his main activity. After an initial period of study and practice, he enrolled in the International School of Graphics in Venice, where he attended courses in engraving techniques and a special course for artists under the guidance of Nicola Sene.

During the end of the eighties he was part of the group of founding artists of the "Atelier Aperto" association and within this he had the opportunity to deepen the research and application of traditional techniques, among which he privileged the use of etching by combining it often with aquatint. In the same period he also joined the ranks of artists of the "Centro Artistico Culturale G.B.Piranesi" in Mogliano Veneto, of which he currently holds the position of director of the graphic section "Torchio Piranesi".
After several years of work he has been able, since 2000, to transmit his knowledge by taking courses in engraving techniques at the school "La Bottega" in Jesolo, at the "Circolo Culturale Calcografico" of Mestre and at the "Torchio Piranesi" of Mogliano Veneto. Since 2008 he has been a part of the ALI. (Association of Free Engravers).
