KARAPETYAN

KARAPETYAN // ARMENIA

Art has been a natural atmosphere in Lily Karapetyan`s world from her childhood. Her passion for sculptures turned into a few junior solo and group exhibitions and opened the door of the "Igityan" National Art Center, where she became Samvel Baghdasaryan`s and Manvel Baghdasaryan`s proud student. The art school was the only place in Armenia where children could explore modern art and be educated not in conservative methods. With over a dozen projects and exhibitions under her belt in Armenia, Russia, USA, Lily Karapetyan creates sculptures from bronze, stone, metal as well as recycling materials. In visual arts she focuses on global human objectives through various mediums, colors, textures and symbolism. Her works are expressing experience, concern and concept of the artist taking more accent on the emotional side through extended figures.
