The beginning of the artistic activity is marked by the interest in the techniques of engraving that he started practicing, during a stay in Nettuno, in 1985, which dates back to the first of numerous exhibitions in various Italian and foreign cities. Its beginnings are characterized by the graphic representation of archaeological finds, vegetal elements and architectural structures that investigate the relationship between nature and artifice through small deviations of meaning. The creation of Ex Libris and the activity of illustrator for book covers and art editions with, among others, texts by Franz Kafka, Costantino, Kavafis, Lazzaro Spallanzani, Carlo Muscetta.

After a long period in which he privileged the expression in black and white of drawing and engraving, at forty he rediscovers the sense of color, preferring the technique of pastel and also taking up painting. It is present in public collections, in 2010 some of its etchings were acquired by the cabinet of prints and drawings of the Albertina Art Gallery in Vienna and in 2014 a selection of ex libris and plaquettes became part of the collection of the “Kunstmuseum & Exlibrissamling” of Frederikshavn (Denmark).
Figurative traditional its themes are domestic interiors, landscapes and things in the landscape that crystallize a strenuous sense of mystery frozen in a classic style: from landscapes in a Mediterranean light to vaguely surreal fantasy subjects. The adoption of skewed perspectives is the only concession to a deformation of the real that is proposed according to an absolute iconicity. The drawings, engravings and paintings are always woven in all the spaces and the descriptive impassibility finds an incomparable poetic substance.
